Maverick Vinales ended the first post-season test at Valencia on top of the timesheets, leading a Yamaha 1-2-3.

Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha) was the only rider in the 1:29s with a 1:29.849s, and was narrowly faster than the pole time set by Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) at last weekend’s Grand Prix.

2019 rookie Quartararo was 0.164s behind, ahead of teammate Franco Morbidelli. Only Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) was within half a second of Vinales on Day 2 of the test.
