Mercedes and Haas were the only teams to go into 2019 with an unchanged combination, while Alfa Romeo, McLaren, Toro Rosso and Williams all underwent wholesale change.

After 12 races, the order has been shaken up, and Carlos Sainz — who moved from Renault to McLaren — highlighted the key year-on-year differences for drivers as they move to unlock the “secrets” behind their new cars as fast as possible.
