Hamilton Rossi swap, F1 news 2019, MotoGP news 2019, Lewis Hamilton, Valentino Rossi

Six-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and seven-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi have completed their historic ride swap at Valencia.

On Wednesday at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Rossi took to Mercedes’ championship-winning W08 from 2017, while Hamilton rode the 2019 Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1 which was used by the Italian in the 2019 season finale at the same venue.

Acting as mentors to each other, both Hamilton and Rossi – who combine for 15 world titles – were on track at the same time at times. They also cut laps of their own as they got used to the new machinery – two wheels for Hamilton, and four wheels for Rossi.
