MELBOURNE Victory were putting on a clinic against Central Coast Mariners.

Both in football and in farcical repair jobs.

The Sunday night A-League game suffered a four minute second half delay due to a broken goal net after winger Leroy George’s ferocious strike literally busted the net.

While everyone just wanted the game to continue, the match commissioner told referee Jarred Gillett to stop play until the matter was rectified which resulted in hilarious scenes that A-League fans couldn’t get enough of.
