AS Mark Bridge prepares to lead Western Sydney out against rivals Sydney FC, Graham Arnold has revealed the Wanderers skipper was desperate to join the Sky Blues at the start of the season.

Bridge, who took over the club’s captaincy following the departure of Robbie Cornthwaite, returned to the Wanderers at the start of the season after spending a year in Thailand.
